A listing of historical literary events for all 365 days of the year, from any year in history - total of 366 pages just in case anything significant should happen on February 29. This is a work-in-progress compilation of - mostly - English language literary events. Right now, the daily lists are not much more than a day-by-day compilation of births and deaths of literary figures. We are actively soliciting user contributions to this category. We would particularly like to see first publication dates and milestone events in the lives of significant English language literary figures.
