Thomas Hardy June 2, 1840 to January 11, 1928 Born in Higher Bockhampton, England & Died in Dorchester, England English novelist and poet best known for his novels such as Return of the Native and Far From the Madding Crowd. He apparently wrote novels to support his poetry and quit the novels when he could afford to quit. He made the wrong decision. If you don't mind being wrong, please feel free to disagree with me.
Quote "Patience, that blending of moral courage with physical timidity."
